Thank you for stopping by and checking out our newly redesigned website. N.V.F.D. has a long rich history. Napoleonville Fire Company No. 1 was established on March 5, 1878 and Napoleonville Hook & Ladder Company on June 1, 1901.
N.V.F.D. is a non-profit, completely volunteer fire department comprised of over 30 volunteers, protecting an area which spans over 50 square miles. We provide fire protection/suppression and rescue/medical services for over 5000 citizens living within the village limits of Napoleonville and the surrounding fire protection territory. We have five (5) engines, one (1) aerial, and one (1) rescue truck. We have three (3) stations with our main station being newly remodeled. Our department has Mutual Aid Agreements with neighboring fire departments to further strengthen the emergency services available to the citizens living in Assumption parish.
Through the years we have worked extremely hard to lower our fire insurance rating and are proud to have a PIAL protection class three (3) rating within the incorporated village limits of Napoleonville and a class four (4) rating in our surrounding fire protection territory.
We are dedicated to protecting life and property by providing effective public education, fire prevention and emergency services. We are committed to proudly serve our community in the safest, most professional and efficient manner possible. If you would like to join, volunteer or donate to Napoleonville Vol. Fire Dept. please visit our "contact us" page for more information. Also don't forget to check us out and "Like" us on Facebook.
